In observance of Independence Day, Town of Lillington offices will be closed on Friday, July 4th, 2025.
We Have Changed Trash Haulers!
The Town of Lillington has approved a new contract with Carolina Trash and Septic to provide sanitation services for the Town starting July 1, 2025. CTS will now provide trash, recycling, yard waste, and bulky item pickup for the Town. Click HERE for more information, including maps, schedules, and regulations.
Some important changes:
- WEDNESDAY service day will be MOVED TO THURSDAYS. All addresses north of the river will be serviced on THURSDAYS starting 7/3/25.
- Yard Waste carts will be provided for all residents. Yard waste must be placed IN these carts to be serviced, beginning 7/1/25.
- Recycling will be serviced EVERY OTHER week, on the same day as trash pickup.
- Bulky Item pickup will be on the SAME day as trash pickup. This service will be handled by CTS, not the Public Works Department, starting 7/1/25.
- The new sanitation rate is $22.57/month.
