Due Dates & Penalties
Payment extensions and adjustment requests will only be considered if submitted prior to 5:00 pm on the 23rd of each month.

Water/Sewer Service Application (Online) Water/Sewer applications must be submitted with a copy of applicant's state issued ID AND a copy of their current lease or deed. Applications missing these documents will not be processed. A nonrefundable connection fee of $20 and a refundable deposit of $100 (if applicant owns the property) or $150 (if applicant rents the property) must be paid before water service can begin.
Trash Service Application (Online)
Bank Draft Authorization Form (Online) A copy of a VOIDED CHECK must be submitted with the bank draft authorization form. Forms submitted without a voided check attached will not be processed. Bank draft authorization forms take 30 days to process and bills are drafted on the 10th of each month. If an account has bank draft set up, subsequent bills will include a notice that it is being drafted.
Leak Adjustment Request Form (Online) Adjustment requests must be submitted with proof that the issue has been fixed. This can include an invoice from a plumber or a receipt for supplies. All adjustment requests are subject to department approval.

Lillington Utility Services & Waste Collection Policy The Town of Lillington provides water and sewer services, and solid waste and recycling collection to residents and businesses within the corporate limits. The Utility Services & Waste Collection Policy is published to inform our customers of the required terms of sale and conditions of receiving these town services.
Unacceptable Waste The Town of Lillington is UNABLE to collect some kinds of waste. This includes, but is not limited to, tires, hazardous waste, flammable or explosive materials, construction debris (including wooden pallets), ashes/live coals, and medical waste. For these items, contact a private waste disposal company or contact the Harnett County Landfill at (910) 814-6156 or the Harnett General Inquiry line at (910) 893-7536.
