LP&R Summer Day Camp

Day Camp allows children to experience a wide variety of activities and adventures. These are used as tools to enhance a camper's self esteem, confidence and ability to interact with others. Children will be placed in appropriate ages groups where they will play and work together in a positive atmosphere. Well-trained staff members will stay with the children and provide them with adult role models throughout the week. Day Camp is designed to offer a well-balanced variety of activities to suit the interest and needs of all ages. Our goal is to ensure a safe, positive environment where your child will continue to learn and grow physically, mentally and emotionally all summer long.

POLICIES (Please see parent handbook that you receive upon registration for complete list and details of Summer Camp policies. These are only a few of the policies.)

  • AGE REQUIREMENTS:  To be eligible for camp, a child must be 5 years old (completed kindergarten) on or before June 12, 2023.
  • MEALS: Parents need to send lunch and one afternoon snack with their child each day. Lunch and snacks should be self-serving and clearly labeled with child’s first and last name. If food requires refrigeration it is the parents responsibility to place ice packs in the lunch box to keep it cold. Please do not send soft drinks with your child.

Parents may bring breakfast for their children provided the arrival time is before 8:30 a.m. Food must be simple and self-serving (e.g., yogurt, breakfast bar, dry cereal, fruit).

  • DRESS CODE: Due to the wide range of activities that children will be participating in and for the safety of all campers, tennis shoes and socks are required to be worn by campers at all times. Campers should wear clothing that is cool and comfortable and that parents do not mind getting soiled by dirt, grass, paint, glue, etc.
