Downtown Lillington Master Plan
The Downtown Lillington Master Plan was adopted by the Town Board on March 10, 2020. The project began in May 2019 and was made possible through a Downtown Revitalization Grant from the North Carolina Department of Commerce, and technical expertise and assistance from consulting firm Stuart, Inc.
A Downtown steering committee made up of local business owners, residents and Town staff, conducted public engagement sessions and held a series of meetings throughout the process. Developing the plan included careful analysis of Lillington's history, character and current conditions, resulting in specific recommendations and the short and long term strategies to implement them.
